COOGEE BASEMENT GARAGE

The pressing need for a garage for this Coogee house persuaded the owners to apply for permission to construction a garage by removing part of a heritage listed sandstone wall. Randwick Council regulations protect street features with heritage significance. Extensive excavation, shoring and underpinning were justified by the increase in the value of the house.

Approval for this renovation was obtained from Randwick Council in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
