SURRY HILLS HOUSE 1

A single storey rear extension to this terrace in a Heritage Conservation Area created an open plan living/kitchen/dinging room with a new bathroom. Glazed doors were added at the end of the extension for views and access to the back yard. Glazed doors were also added to the side setback yard for cross ventilation and improved natural lightingg. The roof height was raised by reducing the roof slope to provide a higher ceiling.

Approval for this renovation was obtained from City of Sydney council, NSW.
